Henry U Drayton

Henry Ulysses Drayton 75 years old, entered into eternal rest on Monday September 12, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. “Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.-Matthew 11:28”.

Henry U. Drayton- (ULY) as he was affectionately called by his family was born on January 10, 1947 to Dorothy Drayton. As a young child Henry completed his studies receiving his high school diploma. After completing his studies, Henry served his country by completing two tours in Vietnam, then went on to serve his community by serving on the Hoboken Police Department. Henry lived a full life and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Drayton, his siblings, Victoria Grant, LeSherma Washington, Nathaniel Drayton Sr., Lottie Manigault,  and Rodexter Drayton.  His family will miss his whit, his laughter, and his love.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Patricia Drayton, and children: Colleen Leslie (Alvia), Gregory Drayton, Kynosha Drayton, Kesheia Drayton, Nathaniel Drayton, Devan Burton (Patrick), Derrick Pearson (Elizabeth), and Kimberley Bullock (Christopher Sr.) Two brothers, Eugene Drayton (Gwendolyn Drayton-Deceased), and Bernard Drayton (Chiquita),  13 grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other family. We love you Uly, but God loved you best! Take your rest now.
