“A Daughter’s Words”

To my dad, my best friend, I know that God doesn’t make any mistakes. Dad, you taught me so much and I will always cherish the knowledge that you instilled in me. I love you dad. Now you can rest.

  Tonia.

“Kayla’s Letter”

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye, you were gone before I knew it. And only God knows why. My heart’s still active in sadness. And secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know.

Kayla.

“Aaliyah Joy’s Letter”

I will always remember the times we spent together going to school in the morning. We would go to the corner store and grab a butter roll and hot chocolate. You never played when it came to me and Kayla and you always gave us what we needed. As an adult, you gave me the best advice and was always ready to kick me some wisdom. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be as strong as I am. Watching and listening to you instilled things in me that I didn't even know I would need. Now I will pick up a power tool anytime I need to fix something around my house. I am going to miss your laugh the most because it brought so much soul to the energy, but on the days I get sad, I will always remember what you told me. “You got this Li, and if you got to tell anybody otherwise, they a sucker.” Rest in Power Busta. I know you will be with me each and every step of the way.

Lei and I, love you forever and always.
